This
17 Year Old Patch
is part of the Yearly Commemorative Nongame Species Collectible Patch Series issued by The Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission.
The Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission is the fish, reptile, boat, and waterways regulatory management agency in the State of Pennsylvania.
The Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission started the Yearly Nongame Species Patch Series in the year 1997 with
the Rainbow Darter Patch.
The Nongame Patch Series ran from 1997 to 2008 and featured Nongame Endangered Amphibians, Fish and Reptiles native to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
In 2004 a reptile, the Timber Rattlesnake
was selected as the species to commemorate.
In this particular year, two versions of the same patch were issued.
One, this one, featured the Black Phase Timber Rattlesnake.
The second featured the Yellow Phase Timber Rattlesnake.
In this auction you will be bidding on one patch, the one shown in the photos, the Black Phase Timber Rattlesnake Patch.
The Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission, unlike the Pennsylvania Game Commission, had several very short run patch series that were sold to the general public.
This is just one of these patch series that featured some beautiful nongame species wildlife in beautiful background settings.
The patch is guaranteed to be an original and not duplication as the patch was acquired directly from the agency.
This very sought after patch features a Keystone Shape Border of black with a Black Phase Timber Rattlesnake pictured in a an outdoor scene where the Timber Rattlesnake is coiled up with his rattle up in the air rattling.
Above the Timber Rattlesnake, in brown colored lettering is the wording, “
2004
”, telling you what year this patch commemorates
and was issued by the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission.
At the bottom of the patch, in orange lettering is the agency’s name, “
Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission
”.
Just above this lettering in a darker orange colored
lettering is the name of the reptile pictured on the patch, “
Timber Rattlesnake
”.
Finally just to the left of the Timber Rattlesnake’s body in smaller black lettering is the wording “
Black Phase
” letting you know that the Timber Rattlesnake pictured in the phase is the Black Phase Timber Rattlesnake.
The patch contains 3 different size / styles of lettering, 7 different colors.
If you are a collector of patches, you know that the more colors in a patch, the more valuable the patch is.
This patch is no exception to the rule and is very beautiful reptile patch.
The patch we are selling in this eBay Listing and the patch you will receive are new / unused and have not been sewn on any garment, material or item.
The patch you will receive will be in excellent condition and the same as the one seen in the photographs. We do use stock photographs in our listing ads which means the patch you will receive may or may not vary slightly in color or patch detail.
The patch you receive will be an original, new patch but some patches in the production run do vary slightly from patch to patch.

To ship your item to you we will place the item in a plastic bag and then into a protective cardboard mailer.
After this the cardboard mailer will either be wrapped using bubble wrap or the cardboard mailer will be placed into a protective bubble wrap mailer and mailed to you.
Which packing method used will depend on the particular item you have won from us.
The shipping and handling charge will include the packing method described in the paragraph above and a shipping label produced using our business PayPal Account.
In doing so, it will include delivery confirmation along with barcode addressing.
When we ship the item you will receive an email notice, through our eBay Account, allowing you to track the shipment as it is delivered to you.
